Elevate Tuition
Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
Please read these terms before confirming a tutoring booking. They explain when a booking becomes active, how payment works and what happens if a session needs to change.
1. Introduction
These terms govern tutoring services provided by Elevate Tuition. A parent or legal guardian must agree to any tutoring arrangement on behalf of a student under 18. A consultation request made through the website is not itself a confirmed booking.
2. Consultation, booking and location
- Initial discussion: The initial consultation is free and can take place on Google Meet or by phone. Elevate will discuss the student’s needs, subject, level, availability and proposed plan before lessons begin.
- Confirmed booking: A lesson is confirmed only after the date, time, tutor, price and format have all been agreed in writing.
- Lesson format: Online lessons take place on Google Meet, with the link sent to the parent via WhatsApp one day before each lesson. For an in-person lesson with Hasan, the student travels to an agreed location near Bristol city centre. The exact location and arrangement are confirmed privately during the enquiry and booking process.
3. Fees and payment
- Published prices: Standard school tuition prices are £40 for Focused, £50 for Excel and £110 per week for Accelerate. A 15% discount applies when two or more tuition sessions are booked in the same week, including sessions for siblings. Prices for UCAT preparation, interview practice for medicine or dentistry and other non-standard arrangements are agreed in writing before payment.
- Payment timing: Payment is required in advance, either on a per-session basis or as part of an agreed block.
- Payment method: Payment details and due dates are provided on the invoice or written booking confirmation.
- Late payment: Future lessons may be paused while an overdue balance remains unpaid.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
- Policy confirmed before booking: The terms for cancellations, rescheduling, non-attendance and any applicable charges will be provided and agreed in writing before the first paid booking.
- Tutor unable to attend: If the confirmed tutor cannot attend, Elevate will agree a rearranged lesson or credit directly with the family.
5. Student conduct and learning outcomes
Students are expected to attend on time, participate appropriately and use shared resources responsibly.
Elevate and its tutors will provide the agreed teaching and support with reasonable care and skill. Specific grades or academic outcomes cannot be guaranteed because they depend on attendance, independent work and factors outside the tutor’s control.
6. Privacy and safeguarding information
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Hasan has a DBS certificate available on request. When additional subject tutors are needed, Elevate selectively hires from a network of tutors at the University of Bristol, Imperial College London and the University of Oxford and confirms the proposed tutor with the family before booking. Before agreeing to a match, families should request and review the proposed tutor’s identity, qualifications and safeguarding information if these have not already been provided.
7. Contact and changes
These terms may be updated when the service or booking process changes. Existing bookings remain subject to the version of these terms supplied or available when the booking was made.
