A-Level tutoring

Deeper A-Level understanding, one topic at a time

1-to-1 A-Level tuition across all school subjects and UK exam boards, subject to a suitable tutor match.

Elevate accepts A-Level enquiries across all school subjects and UK exam boards, including AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR (including OCR A specifications where relevant) and WJEC/Eduqas. Share the exact subject, specification and current priorities during the free consultation so the proposed tutor, plan and schedule can be confirmed.

01

Make difficult content manageable

Support can focus on the difficult content, question types or assessment priorities the student identifies during the consultation.

  • Clear explanation of difficult concepts
  • Questions that test understanding
  • Time to revisit weak foundations
02

Improve the quality of answers

For essay-based subjects, enquiries may involve planning, analysis or evaluation. For quantitative subjects, support may focus on methods, accuracy or multi-step problems. The tutor match is based on the student’s course.

  • Structured answer planning
  • Method and working reviewed
  • Exam command words discussed
03

Stay accountable between lessons

Excel includes a weekly lesson, homework and marking. Accelerate includes two lessons each week, a check-in and a weekly parent progress report. Questions can be sent via WhatsApp on every plan.

Questions students and parents ask

Useful details before you enquire

If your situation is different, include it in the consultation request and Elevate will confirm what is possible.

Do you offer medicine, dentistry or UCAT support?

Yes. Elevate offers UCAT preparation and interview practice for medicine or dentistry on request. These sessions are arranged separately from standard school tuition, and prices are not listed online. Contact Elevate with the application stage, test or interview date and the support needed so Elevate can confirm the proposed tutor, their availability, the lesson format and the price before booking.

Can a student bring questions from school?

Yes. Bringing current classwork, tests or specification points helps keep the lesson relevant to the student’s course.

Are progress reports available?

Accelerate includes a weekly progress report for the parent. Students can also send questions via WhatsApp on every plan.
