How tuition works
From first conversation to a useful weekly rhythm
A free consultation to understand the student’s needs, recommend a suitable plan and agree a workable schedule.
The booking journey starts with a free consultation on Google Meet, with the link sent to the parent via WhatsApp, or by phone if preferred. Elevate uses the conversation to understand the student’s needs, recommend a plan, confirm the proposed tutor and agree a schedule before lessons begin.
1. Tell us what is happening
Use the short form to share the student’s level, subject and main concern. You do not need to diagnose every gap or choose a plan before making contact.
- Student level and subject
- Current challenge or upcoming assessment
- Best time to contact you
2. Agree the right starting point
The free consultation can take place on Google Meet, with the link sent to the parent via WhatsApp, or by phone if preferred. Elevate discusses the student’s needs, course and availability, then recommends the plan and confirms the proposed tutor and schedule.
- Free, no-obligation consultation
- Google Meet or phone consultation
- Plan and schedule recommended
3. Review and adjust
Lessons focus on the agreed priorities and adapt as school topics change. Focused provides one 60-minute lesson, Excel adds homework and marking, and Accelerate provides two lessons each week, a check-in and a weekly parent progress report. Questions can be sent via WhatsApp on every plan.
- Focused 1-to-1 lesson
- Homework and marking with Excel
- Plan reviewed as needs change
Questions students and parents ask
Useful details before you enquire
If your situation is different, include it in the consultation request and Elevate will confirm what is possible.
Do I pay when I submit the form?
No. The form is only a consultation request. Payment arrangements are confirmed once the service, tutor and session time have been agreed.
How long is a standard lesson?
Focused and Excel each include one 60-minute 1-to-1 lesson. Accelerate includes two lessons per week and a weekly check-in; the exact weekly arrangement is confirmed before booking.
Will I know the tutor before booking?
Yes. Hasan is Elevate’s founder and main tutor. When additional subject tutors are needed, Elevate selectively hires from a network of tutors at the University of Bristol, Imperial College London and the University of Oxford and confirms the proposed tutor with the family before booking.
How do online and Bristol lessons work?
Online lessons take place on Google Meet. Elevate sends the link to the parent via WhatsApp one day before each lesson, and screen sharing is available during the session. For in-person tuition, the student travels to Hasan near Bristol city centre. The exact location and arrangement are confirmed privately during the enquiry and booking process; Hasan does not travel to students’ homes.
Is there a discount for several weekly lessons?
Yes. Families booking two or more sessions in a week receive 15% off, including sessions split between siblings.
